Just give Manchin a giant wad of money!!!
Joe Manchin is blowing our future out his blow-hole because fossil-fuel lobbyists, pharmaceutical lobbyists and his own coal company give him large amounts of money. If this is what’s standing in the way of saving civilization from climate disaster, why not just set aside a few million bucks in the bill to pay Manchin to pretend he has a conscience?
This is America, arguably the richest country in the freakin’ world, surely we can outbid a few corporate lobbyists! Toss in a couple million more to give to Sinema so we can pass the goddamn bill. It would be a small price to pay to get this train moving.
